Bloomdale Estate

Our team has been working on the Bloomdale estate in Diggers Rest for approx 7 years and are still working on various stages.

Ausland have built streetscapes, reserves, parklands and playgrounds and over this time there has been an increased demand for greenspaces and parklands in the community as we seek ways to stay physically and mentally healthy. Bloomdale’s carefully designed master plan includes over 13ha of wetlands, 40kms of shared walking paths and bike tracks and 4ha of open space including 6 community parks.

The estate, managed by AVID Property Group, has attained the EnviroDevelopment certification. We work to protect and enhance existing native ecosystems, encourage natural systems, native biodiversity and rehabilitate degraded sites wherever possible.

The extensive parks and open spaces are linked by routes shared by native trees and shrubs, providing comfort along the footpaths and streets, especially on warmer days.

It is great to witness how the community uses the spaces. We are currently working on Stage 32.
